Cycling in the Pease sisters skirt/cape

Some of the wonderful photos taken by Charlotte Barnes of the Pease sisters skirt/cape in action. I think you could say from this pic that this garment is easy to cycle in.

The ribbons that gather the skirt/cape around the neck forming a high collar also double as ties to attach the cape to the handle bars of the bike

And this is how the costume looks as a circular skirt. No evidence of the sneaky cycling bloomers underneath!
